Office of the Auditor General - Senior Accountant

Reporting to the Finance and Accountability Analytical Lead, you’ll be responsible for developing and carrying out financial planning, reporting and analysis for various audit teams and functions at OAG. The position involves tracking, compiling, collecting, validating, analyzing and reporting of OAG’s financial operational and performance measures results to facilitate management decision-making.

Linked to senior management and liaising with other professionals and peers within OAG and the legislative offices community to develop and implement best practices, you come prepared with the following:

• University degree in Accounting or related discipline
• Professional accounting designation (or CPA candidate)
• 3-5 years of progressively responsible related experience
• Experience in an accounting firm is an asset
