THE ROLE
Reporting to the General Manager, the Salesperson is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers while actively seeking new business opportunities. This role requires a customer-focused approach, ensuring that client needs are met with integrity-based sales strategies that maximize profitability.
This position can be based anywhere in Alberta.
THE CANDIDATE
The successful candidate is an innovative and proven relationship developer with the ability to effectively promote and deliver premium equipment and services to the marketplace. They will be a collaborative team player with the following core competencies:
- 5+ years of sales experience preferred.
- Highly motivated, results-driven, and customer-oriented.
- Background in the trucking industry is an advantage.
- A clean Class 5 driver’s license is mandatory.
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract are required.
- Class 3 driver’s license is an asset.
- Periodic travel throughout Western Canada is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop expertise in the Tank Truck market, staying informed on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Assess customer job requirements and recommend the appropriate equipment solutions to meet their current and future needs.
- Establish and maintain trust with customers by demonstrating product knowledge, responsiveness, and reliability.
- Conduct customer training sessions, including product start-ups and new crew orientations.
