General Manager - PX Solutions

Working with electrical consultants and contractors, PX Solutions improves clinical and non-clinical workflow efficiencies and effectiveness through the use of advanced precision engagement technologies that provide measured outcomes for patients and clinicians while enhancing the overall healthcare experience.

The General Manager (GM) will be responsible for overseeing all business operations while driving revenue growth and spearheading the company’s expansion into new markets across Canada. This individual will manage sales efforts, optimize operational efficiency, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. The GM will lead a team, implement strategic growth initiatives, and manage the overall performance of the business.

  • Proven experience in a leadership role, with a focus on sales and revenue growth, preferably in healthcare technology, fire safety, security systems or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of Nurse Call systems, healthcare communications, systems integration or similar technical products.
  • Experience expanding businesses into new markets and leading growth initiatives.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and decision-making skills.
  • Develop and execute business strategies that drive growth in sales and market share, both locally and nationally.
  • Lead the expansion of PX Solutions into other regions across Canada, identifying opportunities and establishing a presence in new markets.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales representatives to develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
  • Lead efforts to expand the company’s product offerings and client base including, but not limited to healthcare agencies, electrical consultants and contractors.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring high levels of productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Ensure all projects, from design to installation, are executed within timelines and budget.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 6 technicians and 3 sales representatives.
  • Create a positive and growth-oriented workplace culture, encouraging professional development.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure all Nurse Call system installations are completed to the highest quality standards.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and costs to ensure profitability.
  • Monitor financial performance, including budget control, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Present timely and accurate P&L and cash management reporting.
