Associate Managing Director - Legal Aid Alberta
Location: Calgary, Alberta
Legal Aid Alberta is seeking to fill a full-time Associate Managing Director in their downtown Calgary office. This position will appeal to an individual that likes to take initiative, is client focused and is exceptionally strong in delivering high-quality results.
Reporting to Managing Directors in Edmonton and Calgary, the Associate Managing Director will be primarily responsible for departmental planning, compliance and oversight of day-to-day operations of Legal Services to ensure business and organizational objectives set by Managing Directors and senior leadership are achieved with success.
The incumbent will be a leader in the legal community with strong business acumen. They are comfortable driving performance and leading initiatives. They are used to playing an active role in various committees, projects and stakeholder activities.
Core competencies will also include:
- Law degree from a recognized law school.
- Active member of the Law Society of Alberta.
- Knowledge and experience in litigation processes and court proceedings, both civil and criminal is considered an asset.
- Background and experience in project management and data analytics is considered an asset.
