Director, Operations - Xenali

Reporting to the CEO, the Director, Operations will be a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for translating Xenali’s strategic vision into operational excellence. This Director will lead cross-functional teams, oversee day-to-day operations, optimize supply chains and logistics, and drive efficiency across all service verticals. The ideal candidate brings experience in complex, project-based environments and can scale and optimize operational systems while maintaining a high level of customization, quality, and client satisfaction. A proven track record in integrating technology (AI, ML, analytics, etc.) to maximize operational processes and results is key to success in this role.

The ideal candidate will be a driven and entrepreneurial operational leader with the passion and proven track record for organizational growth. This Director will have a proven track record of incorporating technology (AI, ML, systems, processes, etc.) to optimize client management, product and inventory management, pricing/quoting/bidding processes and project management.

  • A demonstrated track record in utilizing technology (AI, ML, analytics) towards process analysis and optimization.
  • Proven experience in a senior operational leadership role, ideally in construction, modular manufacturing, FF&E, or project-based services.
  • Demonstrated track record in process improvement through the use of LEAN methods and/or advanced technologies.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and large-scale operations.
  • Collaborate with the CEO to develop and implement business strategies aligned with long-term goals.
  • Oversee and align operations across all verticals—Divisions 10 and 12, furnishings, modular builds, fitness & recreation centers, and housing projects.
  • Evaluate and implement operational technology platforms (AI, ML) to improve project proposals and tracking, client reporting, and inventory management.
  • Champion data-driven decision-making through improved analytics and real-time dashboards.
  • Ensure efficient delivery of custom and in-stock furnishing projects, modular installations, and Divisions 10 and 12 solutions.
  • Maintain high standards for project timelines, quality, and client satisfaction across fast-tracked and long-term engagements.
  • Lead department heads (e.g., Logistics, Manufacturing, Project Management, Procurement, Quality Control) to deliver against operational KPIs.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with Director, Marketing and Human Resources to guide recruitment, training, and development initiatives to scale operations sustainably.
  • Collaborate with the Director, Finance & Audit to monitor budgets, resource allocation, and project profitability.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and sustainability practices.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks, Both inhouse operations as well as Client-site operations.
